The Borough of Garwood and the Garwood Recreation Committee will hold a Memorial Day Remembrance Service and Luncheon on May 25.

The service and luncheon are scheduled for 12 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus. Organizers said no pre-registration is necessary.

Missing Man Found Safe, Alert Canceled

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said a missing 78-year-old man was found safe and is now with family. An alert for Gary Allen Lugeanbeal was canceled after he was located.

Garwood Recreation says summer camp registration is still open. The $160 per child price for all six weeks is available until June 14.
