County Urges Safe Driving Amid Celebration Weekend

Greeley, CO – As the weekend celebration season approaches, officials are urging drivers to practice safe driving habits. A safety advisory shared by Adams County Fire Rescue reminds motorists that driving distracted or impaired poses serious risks, not only for the individuals behind the wheel but also for first responders who work to keep the community safe.

The notice stressed that every driver deserves to return home safe at the end of the day. It also warned that even minor misjudgments – such as being just a couple of feet off the correct lane – could lead to dangerous situations on busy roads.

Adams County Fire Rescue emphasized the importance of protecting everyone on the road so they can continue to protect the community in turn.

Residents are encouraged to observe road safety guidelines and make responsible choices to help ensure that all travelers, law enforcement, and fire rescue workers can do their jobs effectively during this busy celebration period.
