Brighton Cyclone Waterslide Opens at Recreation Center

**The Brighton Cyclone Waterslide Officially Open at Brighton Recreation Center**
Brighton, Colorado – The Brighton Recreation Center has announced the grand opening of its brand-new attraction, *The Brighton Cyclone*, a thrilling waterslide for all fun-seekers. The slide was officially named through a “Name That Slide” contest, which was won by 5th grader Willow Medina from Foundations Academy. Congratulations, Willow, on the creative and fitting name!
The waterslide is now open to eligible riders and promises an exciting experience with strict safety measures in place. Below are the rules and requirements for The Brighton Cyclone:
- **Height Requirement:** Riders must be at least 48 inches tall with no exceptions.
- **Swimming Requirement:** Non-swimmers are not allowed on the slide.
- **Riding Rules:**
- Only one rider is allowed at a time.
- Riders must ride feet-first while lying on their back with arms and legs crossed. Riding headfirst or sitting up is prohibited.
- Riders must immediately exit the splash-down area after coming off the slide.
- **Safety Restrictions:**
- No catching of children is allowed at the end of the slide.
- Lifejackets and flotation devices are not permitted on the slide.
- The weight limit for the slide is 300 pounds.
- **Dress Code:** Swim attire must be appropriate, and clothing with metal eyelets, zippers, or abrasive features is prohibited.
- **Reporting Issues:** Any issues should be reported to Aquatics staff.
The Brighton Cyclone brings a fun, family-friendly addition to the Brighton Recreation Center, and guests are encouraged to enjoy the slide while adhering to the rules for their safety.
